Dear Friends and Family,
I trust this letter finds you well and filled with the joy of the Lord. As we celebrate our one-year anniversary at Gospel City Church in Boynton Beach, FL, I am excited to share with you the incredible journey that our family has been on and the impact we've witnessed in the lives of those we serve. WHERE WE BEGAN
WHERE WE ARE NOW
As many of you know, our family followed God's call to South Florida in November 2022 to form Gospel City Church. As the Worship Pastor of Gospel City Church, I consider it a privilege to work alongside David McCaman (Lead Pastor) and Jose Rodriguez (Associate Pastor). Gospel City began with a core team of about 50 people and has grown to a weekly attendance of close to 100 people.
Soon after our launch, my wife, Devan, and I were inspired to begin Gospel City's Young Adult program in January 2023. We open our home to 8-12 Young Adults every Thursday evening from 6:30pm to around 9pm. The evening begins with a dinner that we prepare for them and ends with a deep dive into God's Word. What began as a small group of four young adults has grown rapidly since its inception, and we are thrilled to report that three people made the life-changing decision to devote their lives to the Lord and were baptized at our second beach baptism event this past September (along with five others from Gospel City). This reveals the transformative power of God's love as well as the positive influence our ministry has on the lives of our community's young adults.
Throughout our time here, I have assumed the task of shepherding a worship culture among our people. It has been a special desire of mine to see those with gifts use them not to pursue performance/perfectionism, as is common in church worship culture, but to seek the presence of the Perfecter. Our team (albeit small) is a loyal group committed to seeing our Church worship God in every area of our lives, with core values of The Word, Prayer, Presence, Worship, Devotion, Hospitality, and Humility.

CURRENT MINISTRY NEEDS
While God is definitely blessing our work, we'd like to share with you some of the ongoing needs and challenges we're facing. I've been actively laboring to assist our ministry by engaging in creative projects such as graphic design, photography, and video editing/production. These efforts have enabled our family to cover some basic expenses, but the reality is that we still require more assistance and regular income to sustain our family. Because our church is still in the early stages, the importance of external partners helps ensure the success and stability of our future.
We believe that God works through the generosity of His people, and we invite you to partner with us in this mission.
